“sururb.wasserspeicher” is an artistic/installative research project by Berlin artist and scientist Alex Arteaga. In a performative spatial investigation, performers equipped with audio recording devices go on daily walks investigating the neighbourhood surrounding the Water Tower. The resulting sound material will be fed directly into the installation in the Large Water Reservoir, which can only be accessed from the plateau. “sururb” is stock-taking, research and artistic interpretation all at once, in which the exterior and interior space, the public arena and the installative space are continuously linked together.
