Mechanical and kinetic processes create the basis for the installations. In different ways, the sound and structural features of everyday things are illuminated. In “maßnahmenpaket”, they originate from storage, transport or construction. Robbed of their intended purpose, they create a permanent inventory that circulates around themselves. Inversion and reversal, expansion and depletion result in temporary constellations with surprising mechanical twists and astonishing sounds. Tin cans, glass plates, sand paper, magnets, drills and strings move or are moved and can sometimes be heard simultaneously and sometimes after one another, sometimes swooshing, sometimes purring in the gallery space following a predetermined choreography.
